Often photographers want to distribute slideshows to customer, but how do you do this in a tasteful way and still protect your images. The related problem is how to distribute images and still get recognition for your work.

Video slideshow lets you take your pictures, add in some music and quickly create movies. The movies will show your watermark and will let your clients view your movies safely. The movie is saved in .mov format (requires Quicktime to play in some cases)

Perian is a free plugin that enables QuickTime to play almost every popular video format.

With Perian installed, any OS X application that uses QuickTime can now use these additional media types:
Divx, XviD, FLV, AVI
MS-MPEG4 v1, MS-MPEG4 v2, MS-MPEG4 v3, DivX 3.11 alpha, 3ivX, Sorenson H.263, Flash Screen Video, Truemotion VP6

Liquid crystal displays are susceptible to image persistence (what we used to call “burn-in” on old CRT monitors). Unlike CRTs, however, LCDs with image persistence can often be repaired with special video patterns, saving the cost of a repair or new display.

LCD Scrub uses recommended techniques from Apple, NEC, and other manufacturers (plus some of our own tricks) to gradually “scrub” away residual images from liquid crystal displays.
